WWE Friday Night SmackDown Report - November 27th, 2009

We start off tonight’s show with a look back at Sunday’s Survivor Series.
We are live on tape from Bridgeport, Connecticut and your announcers are Matt ‘Thesaurus Striker and Todd Happy Black Friday’ Grisham.
Chris Jericho comes to the ring with his title belts. Jericho says that while everyone attempts to digest their Thanksgiving dinners, they are waiting with bated breath for December 13th when the most dominant tag team of Chris Jericho and Big Show face Degeneration X in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match. Jericho says that December 13th will not be the beginning of the DX title reign, they will never have to deal with DX again. The match is not about moronic catchphrases, sophomoric jokes, or shilling merchandise. It is the most dangerous match ever created in WWE history. There have only been 8 TLC matches in the history of the business. Jericho says that he deals with the facts and that is that Shawn Michaels and Triple H have never been in a TLC match while Jericho has been in two matches. Jericho has succeeded in TLC matches. He says that he is a winner and they will win at TLC. Jericho says that DX are losers because despite their accomplishments, they have never been tag team champions. As long as he holds the titles, Degeneration X never will. Jericho says that he is the best in the world at what he does and he deserves the respect of the hypocrites but he does not get it. He demands respect but Teddy Long proverbially slaps him in the face each time. He wants to know how there can be a number one contender match without him in it. He wants Teddy Long to make it right and put him in the match.
Teddy Long comes out and he tells Jericho that he seems to have it all figured out. Jericho tells the player that he has it figured out because he is the face of the show and he should get whatever he wants. Teddy asks if that is right. Teddy tells Chris that he will give Jericho what he wants. Jericho says that Teddy has finally made the right decision to put him in the number one contender. Teddy says that he is not going to be in that match. Jericho will be facing Undertaker in a non-title match.
Match Number One: Cryme Tyme versus David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd with Natalya
Kidd and JTG start things off and they lock up with JTG applying a side head lock. JTG with a flip shoulder tackle followed by a drop kick and then he jumps into the corner but Kidd takes him down with a drop kick to the knees. Smith tags in and kicks JTG in the head and then hits a back breaker. Smith runs JTG into the turnbuckles and he tags Kidd back into the match. Kidd with kicks and then they send JTG back first into the turnbuckles and get a near fall. Kidd with a side head lock. Smith tags in and hits a delay vertical suplex for a near fall. Smith with crossfaces to JTG and then he returns to the reverse chin lock. Smith with a forearm and he tags Kidd back in. Kidd with a forearm to JTG followed by an Irish whip and a kick in the corner. Kidd charges into JTG’s boots and then JTG with a leap from leg lariat and both men are down. Smith tags in and he tries to stop JTG but he is too slow. Shad with clotheslines and a reverse atomic drop. Shad drives Smith into the mat and hits a flying shoulder tackle from the second turnbuckle and Kidd makes the save and throws JTG out of the ring. Shad clotheslines Kidd over the top rope to the floor and Smith with a Saito suplex on Shad for the three count.
Winners: David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd
We are in the HollaOffice and John Morrison is in there. They talk about John Morrison’s failed attempt to get a victory at Survivor Series. Morrison wants a shot at the three men who eliminated him. Vickie Guerrero enters and she reminds Teddy that she is the executive consultant so Teddy needs to get Vickie’s approval for title matches. Teddy reminds Vickie Guerrero that he is in charge. Vickie reminds Teddy that he is still on probation. Vickie wants Eric Escobar to get a title match tonight. Teddy says that Eric does not deserve it. Vickie says that Eric is young, vibrant, and sexy. Vickie starts to call Vince and Teddy changes his mind. Teddy tells Vickie that he gets a title match tonight, but it is his only chance. Teddy says that he is not going to bend the rules every week for her boyfriend. Eric sniffles at Morrison as he leaves.
CM Punk is walking in the back and he has a brown paper bag.

We are back and did you know that Matt Striker is translated into more than 30 languages.
We see footage from last week’s confrontation between CM Punk and R Truth.
CM Punk comes to the ring with a man in camouflage. Punk says that he extended a hand to the WWE Universe in a much needed intervention. Punk says that he is not the only one who knows that pills and tobacco are harmful. Punk mentions the Surgeon General’s warning. He says that he will continue his crusade as long as there are people who need his help. One person he has been helping is Luke Gallows. Punk mentions that he used to be Festus but that was a lifetime ago and it is a lifetime that he wants to forget because of drug abuse and neglect. It started off with one pill to take the edge off. His friends and family were not helping him. Punk says that he helped Luke and he can help everyone. Punk says that it does not end here. Punk says that he will continue to reach out and help those who can’t help themselves. Punk holds the paper bag over his head and he says that on December 1st a dangerous drug will hit the street. Punk says that it is very scary because it is more dangerous than any prescription medication, a carton of cigarettes, or any alcohol. Punk reveals the Jeff Hardy DVD. Punk calls Hardy a loser and he says that Jeff not only ruined his career, he ruined the lives of all of his fans. He planted the seeds into the head of the fans. Punk talks about the final chapter and it the cage match where Jeff Hardy’s career
was ended. Punk tells everyone to search inside for the shred of self respect and just say no to the Hardy DVD.
Punk is interrupted by Matt Hardy who comes to the ring. Matt tells Punk that he comes out to preach to everyone to follow his beliefs like he is a cult leader. Matt says that Jeff is a free spirit. Jeff has his flaws, but everyone has flaws. Matt says that Punk targeted him because he would not follow Punk’s beliefs. Matt says that Punk doesn’t know Jeff Hardy. Punk says that if Jeff had listened to him, Jeff would have more of a future. Matt says that Punk might not be a former champion if he would come off his soap box.
Match Number Two: CM Punk with Luke Gallows versus Matt Hardy
Matt with a kick and he sets up for the Twist of Fate but Punk escapes.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Hardy punches Punk and runs him into the turnbuckles. Punk blocks an attempt to send him into the ring post and then Punk drops Hardy’s arm on the top rope. Punk with a divorce court for a near fall and then he applies a key lock. Matt runs Punk into the turnbuckle but Punk is able to move out of the way on a charge into the corner and Hardy hits the ring post. Punk gets a near fall with a rollup. Punk tries for the springboard clothesline but Hardy stops him and hits a Side Effect for a near fall. Matt with punches to Punk followed by a discus punch and clothesline. Punk is sent into the turnbuckles and Hardy hits a clothesline. Matt with a running clothesline followed by the vintage bulldog out of the corner for a near fall. Hardy goes to the turnbuckles for the screaming leg drop and he hits it. Matt bounces around for the Twist of Fate, but Gallows pulls Hardy onto the top rope and then hits a big boot.
Winner: Matt Hardy by disqualification
Gallows with a catapult into the ropes and then he punches Hardy. Gallows holds Hardy for Punk to connect with a back kick. Gallows sends Hardy into the turnbuckles and then Gallows holds Hardy for Punk to deliver the running knee. Punk with a series of elbows to the chest. Gallows chokes Hardy and then hits a front spinebuster slam.

We are back with the video package of Michelle McCool’s McAwesome McParody of Mickie James.
Mickie is in the interview area with Josh Mathews and Josh asks Mickie how she is feeling about being picked on. Mickie says that it doesn’t matter what is said about her and it doesn’t matter what kind of juvenile pranks they try to play, she is not going anywhere. Mickie says that she belongs here and she is not leaving Smackdown.

We are back with the Smack of the Night: Batista being confronted by Kane on Monday night.
Match Number Three: Batista versus Kane in a Number One Contenders Match
They go face to face and Kane grabs Batista by the throat but Batista escapes Kane’s grip and goes to the floor. Batista pulls Kane to the floor and sends Kane into the ringside barrier and punches him. Kane with an uppercut and they return to the ring. Kane with a kick and punches in the corner. Kane with a snap mare and drop kick to Batista for a near fall. Kane works on the arm but Batista backs Kane into the turnbuckles. Kane with punches in the corner. Batista with a rake of the eyes and then he connects with shoulders in the corner. Batista with a double sledge to the back. Batista with an Irish whip and clothesline for a near fall. Batista with a reverse chin lock and Kane gets back to his feet and he backs Batista into the corner. Batista with a back elbow for a near fall. Batista with a rear chin lock and he adds a body scissors. Kane with punches to escape the hold. Kane with a punch but Kane with a kick to Batista. Kane goes for the throat and Batista gets to the ropes. Batista with a kick to the knee and he tries for the Batista Bomb but Kane with a back body drop. Batista goes for the knees and then he puts Kane’s leg in the ropes and kicks the leg. Batista with a knee bar and then he drops down and we go to commercial.
We are back and Batista has Kane in a single leg crab. We see footage from the commercial when Batista continued to work on the leg. Back to the in ring action and Kane tries to make his way to the ropes but Batista pulls Kane back into the center of the ring. Kane powers out of the hold and both men are down. Batista with more kicks to the leg to weaken Kane’s base. Batista with kicks and Kane with punches. Kane with an Irish whip and a running clothesline into the corner. Kane tries for a slam but Batista escapes the hold and sends Kane to the turnbuckles. Kane with a big boot for a near fall. Kane, despite having his leg worked on for most of the match, goes up top for his clothesline but Batista moves. Batista hits a spear but only gets a two count. Kane with a side slam for a near fall. Kane goes back to the top turnbuckle and this time he hits the clothesline. Kane sets for the choke slam but Batista sees it and then he hits snake eyes and then clips Kane. Batista shakes the ropes and signals for the Batista Bomb and Kane hits Batista in the leg. Kane with a choke slam but Batista gets his foot on the ropes. Batista rolls to the floor and Kane goes after him. Batista with a kick but Kane sends Batista into the announcer and ring bell cubicle. Batista hits Kane with a chair that the referee did not see. Batista rolls into the ring and the referee hits ten before Kane can re-enter the ring.
Winner: Batista

We are back and did you know that someone has been busy looking at photos of the Divas.
Vickie Guerrero comes out to Excuse Me her way into everyone’s post holiday hearts. Vickie says that it gives her great excitement to introduce the future Intercontinental Champion and her boyfriend, Eric Escobar.
Match Number Four: Eric Escobar with Vickie Guerrero versus John Morrison for the Intercontinental Title
They lock up and Escobar works on the arm and puts Morrison in a hammer lock and sends Morrison into the turnbuckles. Morrison sends Escobar into the ropes and then Morrison with a drop kick that sends Escobar to the floor. Morrison with an Asai Moonsault and then he poses. Morrison rolls Escobar into the ring and Vickie grabs Morrison. Escobar with a baseball slide and then Escobar sends Morrison into the apron. Escobar gets a near fall and then he kicks Morrison. Escobar with a bear hug but Morrison with punches. Escobar with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Escobar continues to work on the back with forearms. Morrison with a forearm and back elbow. Morrison with a leg lariat. Morrison with punches followed by a forearm. Escobar runs Morrison into the corner and connects with shoulders. Morrison moves on a charge into the corner and then Morrison with the springboard spin kick followed by the split legged corkscrew moonsault for the three count.
Winner: John Morrison
After the match, Vickie and Eric are in the ring and Vickie yells at Eric for losing and then she slaps him before leaving the ring.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Eric tries to talk to Vickie. Vickie tells Eric to get out of her sight because she makes him sick. Eric tells Vickie that she makes him sick. Eric says that he has to wash his mouth out with disinfectant when he kisses Vickie. Eric says that they are done.
It is time for the Raw Rebound.
Batista comes out to join Todd and Matt at the announce table.

Match Number Five: Undertaker versus Chris Jericho
They lock up and Taker backs Jericho into the corner and he punches Jericho. Taker sends Jericho’s head into the turnbuckles. Taker punches Jericho in the corner and then he works on the arm and goes up for Old School and he hits it. Jericho with a kick and Taker is not happy. Jericho is clotheslined over the top rope to the floor. We go to commercial with Taker looking at Batista.
We are back and Taker punches Jericho and slams his head into the turnbuckles. Taker throws Jericho out of the ring but Jericho stays on the apron. Taker goes to the floor and looks at Batista before kicking Jericho in the head. Taker with the vintage leg drop on the apron. Taker punches Jericho and then Batista gets up and gets in Taker’s face before sitting back down at the announce table. Jericho hits the springboard drop kick that sends Taker to the floor. Jericho sends Taker into the ring post. Jericho kicks Taker on the floor. They return to the ring and Jericho chokes Taker in the ropes. Jericho with shoulders in the corner but Taker punches back. Taker with an Irish whip but he runs into an elbow from Jericho. Jericho goes to the turnbuckles with a drop kick for a near fall. Jericho with a chin lock and the arm is isolated. Taker gets to his feet and he punches Jericho but Jericho with a drop kick for a near fall. Jericho with a kick to the head and he gets a near fall. Jericho returns to the chin lock and he turns it into a sleeper. Taker gets to his feet and he hits a Saito suplex and both men are down. Jericho punches Taker but Taker punches back. Taker with an Irish whip and splash into the corner. Taker with snake eyes and a big boot followed by a leg drop for a near fall. Taker sets for the choke slam but Jericho with elbows. Taker is sent into the turnbuckles and Jericho with a bulldog. Jericho hits the Lionsault but Taker sits up and he grabs Jericho by the throat. Taker with the choke slam and he sets for the tombstone but Batista enters and clips Taker. The referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Undertaker by disqualification
After the match, Jericho hits the Codebreaker and leaves the ring. Batista has a chair and he hits Taker in the ribs with it and then he hits Taker in the back with the chair. Batista with more chair shots to the back. Taker tries to get back to his feet and Batista resumes with the chair shots. Batista stands over Taker with the chair as we go to credits.

We are back and Eric tries to talk to Vickie. Vickie tells Eric to get out of her sight because she makes him sick. Eric tells Vickie that she makes him sick. Eric says that he has to wash his mouth out with disinfectant when he kisses Vickie. Eric says that they are done.

Match Number Five: Undertaker versus Chris Jericho
They lock up and Taker backs Jericho into the corner and he punches Jericho. Taker sends Jericho’s head into the turnbuckles. Taker punches Jericho in the corner and then he works on the arm and goes up for Old School and he hits it. Jericho with a kick and Taker is not happy. Jericho is clotheslined over the top rope to the floor. We go to commercial with Taker looking at Batista.
We are back and Taker punches Jericho and slams his head into the turnbuckles. Taker throws Jericho out of the ring but Jericho stays on the apron. Taker goes to the floor and looks at Batista before kicking Jericho in the head. Taker with the vintage leg drop on the apron. Taker punches Jericho and then Batista gets up and gets in Taker’s face before sitting back down at the announce table. Jericho hits the springboard drop kick that sends Taker to the floor. Jericho sends Taker into the ring post. Jericho kicks Taker on the floor. They return to the ring and Jericho chokes Taker in the ropes. Jericho with shoulders in the corner but Taker punches back. Taker with an Irish whip but he runs into an elbow from Jericho. Jericho goes to the turnbuckles with a drop kick for a near fall. Jericho with a chin lock and the arm is isolated. Taker gets to his feet and he punches Jericho but Jericho with a drop kick for a near fall. Jericho with a kick to the head and he gets a near fall. Jericho returns to the chin lock and he turns it into a sleeper. Taker gets to his feet and he hits a Saito suplex and both men are down. Jericho punches Taker but Taker punches back. Taker with an Irish whip and splash into the corner. Taker with snake eyes and a big boot followed by a leg drop for a near fall. Taker sets for the choke slam but Jericho with elbows. Taker is sent into the turnbuckles and Jericho with a bulldog. Jericho hits the Lionsault but Taker sits up and he grabs Jericho by the throat. Taker with the choke slam and he sets for the tombstone but Batista enters and clips Taker. The referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Undertaker by disqualification
After the match, Jericho hits the Codebreaker and leaves the ring. Batista has a chair and he hits Taker in the ribs with it and then he hits Taker in the back with the chair. Batista with more chair shots to the back. Taker tries to get back to his feet and Batista resumes with the chair shots. Batista stands over Taker with the chair as we go to credits.
