A Blissful Ass

On this week’s “WWE Superstars” on WGN America, eight Superstars battled it out in three matches just days before the first ever WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs.
Jack Swagger def. MVP
In the night’s main event, two of Raw’s finest in-ring warriors battled it out with the two-time collegiate All-American claiming victory. Though it was a back-and-forth battle, Swagger used his amateur wrestling skills and his commanding power to take control of the match when he needed to. After “The All-American” American connected with his vicious Gutwrench Powerbomb, MVP was left with nothing to do but look up at the lights despite a valiant effort.
The Hart Dynasty def. Jimmy Wang Yang & Slam Master J
Maybe it is their heritage, but The Hart Dynasty has proven that they are winners, with this week being no different in their tag team match against Jimmy Wang Yang & Slam Master J. The chemistry displayed between lifelong friends David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd is undeniable, and despite the impressive skills of both their opponents, Smith & Kidd proved to be the better team. As both Wang and J can attest, if The Hart Dynasty wants the win, they will take it.
Dolph Ziggler def. Finlay
Last week, the Hollywood, Fla., native defeated an in-ring veteran in Matt Hardy, and the young Superstar followed it up with another big win against The Man Who Loves to Fight. Due to Finlay’s propensity for pugilism, Ziggler knew it wouldn’t be an easy night, but his tenaciousness allowed him to stand toe-to-toe with The Belfast Brawler and pick up the win after hitting the Zig Zag. Things are looking on the up for Dolph, and a lot can be expected from him if they keep going the way they are.
