Sources say that Vince McMahon has not openly reacted to TNA's announcement that it will run a live show on Monday, January 4. McMahon has generally been no-selling anything involving TNA's recent attempts to wage war with WWE, so his lack of public reaction here fits the pattern. There similarly has been no definitive plan made to turn the show into a three-hour special, although most assume that announcement will come.
Interestingly in WWE's case, John Cena, the company's most popular star, is expected to miss the show due to a coin flip obligation at the Fiesta Bowl. He might appear in a taped segment.
