Sam Fox has said that her stint on this year's series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! was "life-changing".
The former glamour model was the third star to be eliminated from the jungle, losing the public vote to Sabrina Washington and Jimmy White.
Fox told Metro: "I had a great time. It was life-changing. When you're in there and you're hungry and there's no shelter and you realise you can't wash your clothes, you realise how lucky you are.
"I thought, 'Why am I moaning about being hungry because I haven't eaten for five hours when there are people in the world who are starving?'."
When asked if she was disappointed by her early exit, she added: "Of course I was. I never said I wanted to be queen of the jungle, but I wanted to last a bit longer.
"I was happy with what I achieved and to raise my profile in Britain. I've been working abroad for the past five years."
