Departing WWE star Tommy Dreamer makes statement

Tommy Dreamer issued his first statement since reports broke of his WWE departure Thursday, and it featured nothing in the way of an update on his forthcoming plans. He wrote the following on his WWE Universe blog:

"I just wanted to wish everyone a happy and safe Holiday. Thanks so much for your continued support. May everything be better for all in 2010."

He belongs In TNA more than WWE. TNA are more edgy and have better matches for Dreamer, even though he is getting older now.

I wouldn't think Dreamer would move on to TNA as a wrestler. I think he's best used at this point in his career as a backstage guy; someone to mentor the younger guys and maybe even be a part of the creative team. Regardless, he won't be able to join TNA for at least 90 days from his final day of employment w/ the WWE so it'll be awhile before we'll see him once he walks from his current gig.
