-- WWE's VP of Intellectual Property Lauren Middlen sent a cease and desist letter to UK indy Varsity Pro Wrestling, ordering them to stop billing Kip Sopp and Brian James as DX, and to stop them from promoting appearances by Billy Gunn and Hardcore Holly. They were billed for shows on February 12 in the Guildhall in Portsmouth and February 13 in Basingstoke at the Vyne Community School.

I hate this crap. I understand the names were given TV time in WWE and they don't want these companies making money off something they spent time building, but ultimately Billy Gunn and Hardcore Holly had to do their parts as well by going out and working hard. These men should be able to utilize the names they had in WWE if it makes them a living. I think it sucks that Vince McMahon, a billionaire, is taking money from these guys who are past their primes by not allowing them to cash in (in a very small way) on the success they had.
