An update on Matt Hardy being taken off of the road by WWE has been posted on his discussion forums of his official website. The statement reads, "Simply enough, when Matt was given the standard blood test, they found dormant trace elements of the Staph infection which plagued him many months ago. After a light antibiotic treatment and a few weeks off to properly rest, Matt will be back."
For those that have not read this week’s SmackDown spoilers from Detroit, Billy Kidman worked a dark match against Jamie Noble in which he lost. As of press time, Kidman has not been offered a full-time WWE contract.
Chad Wicks, a former member of the Dicks tag team, worked a dark match at RAW in Cleveland, Ohio this past Monday under a “stripping fireman” gimmick. It is unknown at this point if he is under a new contract, as he has continued to work in Ohio Valley Wrestling following his intial release from WWE.
