The reason referee John Cone had gloves on during the triple threat match featuring Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Cody Rhodes is because DiBiase was busted open on the outside and Cone was treating him.

Look, personally, if it happens in a match, then great. Let it go. What they should ban is people trying to make themselves bleed. No blade jobs. But if happens by mistake and someone is bleeding, let it go.
