Linda McMahon resigns from Connecticut Board of Education

Linda McMahon tendered her resignation from the Connecticut Board of Education today, citing a new legal opinion by state elections officials that restricts political activities by board members, according to a report in The Hartford Courant.

The former CEO of WWE had served on the Board for a little over a year, the first of her political moves towards her current run for Republican Senator of the Nutmeg State.
