Not only does Maryse Ouellet reign supreme over WWE as its Divas Champion, but "The Sexiest of Sexy" reigns supreme over the premiere search engine in the world as its most downloaded female combatant.
Based on Google searches in the United States from January 1, 2010 through March 13, 2010, Maryse was the most downloaded woman grappler on the web, beating out mixed martial arts fighter Gina Carano, who has been referred to as the "Face of Women's MMA."
The fight for the most downloaded woman on the web was a close race as Maryse narrowly beat out fellow WWE Diva Mickie James, who ranked 19th overall among both male and female wrestlers and mixed martial arts fighters. Carano trailed just behind James at No. 21.
The sole other female combatant to chart on Google's top 48 list is Maria Kanellis, who's recent departure from WWE and ongoing role on Celebrity Apprentice has garnered much publicity.
