An upset WWE fan by the name of Zavr Peygumbari was arrested last week after persistently calling WWE HQ in Stamford, Connecticut and threatening to blow up the building and harm staff inside.
Peygumbari was said to be upset that WWE released former WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James on April 23rd 2010. A Stamford, CT court heard his case yesterday and lawyer describes him as a "fervent wrestling fan" who did not intend to follow through on his threats.
The judge ruled that Zavr has been charged with four counts of fourth-degree threatening, one count of second-degree harassment and two counts of second-degree threatening. The judge added he could not attend go near WWE HQ, contact or attend any WWE events to which Zavr replied, “I'm not allowed to go to wrestling shows?"
