Andre Dida, who is Mauricio "Shogun" Rua's head trainer recently talked about Rua's training for Machida and where he is at heading into this weekend's rematch with Lyoto Machida:
"I wouldn’t want to be Lyoto right now because Shogun is going to rip his belt with kicks"…"To be honest, it’s not a good plan for Lyoto to stand with Shogun. He knows that his Karate won’t beat the Muay Thai. In my opinion as coach, he’s going to want to work his Jiu-Jitsu with Shogun. I don’t think he’s going to want to trade with Muay Thai because he saw what happened last time, he came out very hurt [from the fight] and was not efficient. So I think he’s going to want to work on his Jiu-Jitsu".
