The plan as of last Monday (and look at how fast it changed) was that the Drew McIntyre angle would be held off until after the PPV, and that it would be Matt Hardy begging Teddy Long to rehire Drew so that he could beat his ass. They were probably going to use Twitter as well with him asking his fans to please tweet and re-tweet to spread the word.
