WWE Superstar Carlito (Carlos Colon) has been released from his World Wrestling Entertainment contract as of today May 21, 2010. Carlito’s termination was due to his first violation of the WWE Wellness Program and his subsequent refusal to attend a rehabilitation facility.

They're on a generational kick, & they only need 1 from each family.

Anyone wanna guess who the first Rhodes or Guerrero to get released will be?

Sad for Carlito. I hope for him that he goes a place where his talent would be appreciated.

Thanx for posting Hitman!

Good! The WWE hasn't used him properly in years. He can go to TNA and do something..

TNA I think he'd fit more. To many former WWE stars in ROH becoming TNA like.

My initial thought was "What a twat" seeing as he and Primo were just getting used again but Ive also since heard that he was contemplating leaving not so long ago anyway so could well work out for the best for him.

Ive always found him to be pretty average at best anyway though so I don't go along with those saying he'd be a star in TNA.

Guess he'll find his way over to TNA in 90 days. Good. He hasn't been happy in the WWE in years.

WWE fired Carlito yesterday for an alleged Wellness Program violation & subsequent refusal to enter rehab. The report on WWE.com noted that his termination followed a first violation of the program. However, WWE sources indicate that Carlito did not fail a drug test but instead was fired after he arrived at Monday’s RAW in Toronto & management felt that he was unfit to perform. According to Dave Meltzer, everything went down on Monday & drug test results wouldn't have been available at the time Carlito's release was announced.

I think there is to much drugging and drinking done in the wwe and tna, when people are released they seem to either end up dead or in trouble. To help these people first they need to help them selfs.
