The parents of Gary Coleman have said that they are searching for answers about the sudden death of their estranged son.
The former Diff'rent Strokes star died on Friday after suffering an intracranial haemorrhage caused by a fall in his home in Santaquin, Utah.
Sue and Willie Coleman have revealed that during the last ten years, they were only able to keep in touch with their son through media headlines.
Speaking to People, Sue said: "We would've loved to have been there by his side at the hospital, to let him know we love him before he passed away. This is a shock to us. We loved Gary very much. We're going to miss him.
"We're not pointing fingers at anyone, but we need to know exactly what happened. We're not angry. We're just concerned. Did our son fall down the stairs? Did he fall in the bathtub? We need to have some closure on our son's life."
A spokeswoman for Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, Janet Frank has said that the official cause of death is still under investigation.
