A fan was thrown out of the WWE RAW live event on Friday night in New Orleans. Chris Jericho, before his match with John Cena, cut a promo on the fans and said that Cena is going down like the city did after Hurricane Katrina. Obviously Jericho got some major heat for this comment. Jericho was thrown over the fan barrier and into the first row during the match and was touched by a fan, which upset him. A fan then threw ice into Jericho's eye and was escorted out of the building. The other fans who touched Jericho were also kicked out.

Seriously, do wrestlers need to get heat from stupid comments? Katrina caused devastation and maybe some people are stil dealing with it, so many people lost there lives and Jericho says that, he is lucky people didnt bash the crap out of him, would have been deserved

Fact remains that WWE shouldn't have wrote that line. It just shows that WWE are trying to use some "Cheap Heat" to get Jericho over. I don't blame the fan who attacked him, I'd be pretty damn angry also. I actually laughed at the line once but then thought it was a low-blow. It was an unneeded comment that was only put there to get some heat & the fact that some people were thrown out just shows how wrong it went. Some people were probably still trying to deal with it, then they go watch a show and out comes this witty genius who spouts a few lines & you're suddenly dealing with depression again. Thanks, Jericho.

Has everyone already forgot Sgt. Slaughter and the whole Iraq thing years back? Wrestling will do anything for cheap heat. It's just the business. Don't know why your all surprised about this.

Regardless of whose bright idea it was it is a bit harsh to use a national tragedy to get heat at a wrestling show.

Having said that though, you would assume people at a show realise it was just a cheap attempt to get heat and be of the knowledge that it may not have been Jerichos idea to say it.

I highly doubt they were touching him in a friendly pat on the back manner, more likely throwing a few cheap shots in on him and quite rightly were thrown out for it.
