In an interview with the Citizen-Times newspaper, Edge talked about his future in wrestling and how he plans to settle down with his girlfriend soon in North Carolina:

"I'm coming up on my 20th year, and I've definitely had some injuries that have shortened my career," Edge said. "That's part of the reason I bought up here - we want to retire and listen to the wind in the trees, and we want to do it fairly soon. I may have two more years. With each injury, it's harder and harder to come back."

at least he knows what his body can handle. take notes Taker, Hogan, Flair, etc...

That's sad, but I understand him. He's achieved a lot in his career and will truly be remember as a great wrestler.

he is one of the best today and when he retires it will leave a huge hole in wwe.

the only cool part about Edge retiring is that his house in North Carolina is 15 minutes from mine. when Edge was rehabbing his achilles he was at the gym that i go to :) saw him twice there!

i barely watch wrestling anymore but this does suck edge is awsome and wwe will never be the same without him causing chaos

he gets hurt almost every year and comes back a better performer than before .
