ITV has confirmed that 'Coronation Street' will be pulled from the schedules again this evening in the wake of recent news events.
It follows the decision to postpone last night's episode because of yesterday's tragic shootings in Cumbria.
The broadcaster decided to drop the programme because this week's episodes feature an armed siege in the Street's factory.
Tonight's 9.00pm slot will once again feature an episode of 'Harry Hill's The Best of TV Burp'.
An ITV spokesperson said: "Following the tragic events in Cumbria yesterday, both Wednesday's and Thursday's planned Coronation Street episodes have been postponed."
It is not yet known when the episodes will be shown.
