After achieving success with The X Factor, Britain's Got Talent and American Idol, Simon Cowell is planning to launch another global TV talent show.
He made the comments after collecting the special award for his contribution to television at this year's British Academy Television Awards.
The music mogul, 50, said an earlier attempt with the Pop Idol brand had been a "disaster" because of the different judges. So the show would have to work without a judging panel.
"The idea that...Spellbound or Diversity would represent England in a global talent competition, that excites me," said Cowell.
"It just gives everyone a chance now for an even bigger platform."
