the fights were awesome i just got back so i figured id post it here... the fights were epic i gotta go see live fights again soon, bring UFC to edmonton lol

WILL CAMPUZANO VS. EDDIE WINELAND

Round 1 - Referee Jerin Valel in charge of the evening's first televised contest. Wineland takes the center early, but Campuzano throws the first jabs. Campuzano scores with a pair of early low kicks. Both fighters look quick early as they feel out the range. Wineland working in jabs as well, but Campuzano continues with the low kicks. Wineland now returns the favor. Wineland targets the body. He then catches a Campuzano kick and lands a stiff right. Wineland moving well, but Campuzano finds a jab and another low kick. Campuzano misses with a high kick. Two minutes remain. Wineland lands another counter, and he scores with a kick to the body. Campuzano lands again with an outside leg kick low. Wineland connects with a right that drops Campuzano, though he pops immediately back up. Campuzano lands a right hand after pumping two jabs. Campuzano scores again with a flashy high kick. Wineland catches a low kick and lands two rights. Good action early, but MMAjunkie.com gives it to Wineland, 10-9.

Round 2 - Campuzano with an early uppercut. Wineland continues to circle and jab, though Campuzano returning fire. Right hand scores for Wineland, but Campuzano lands one of his own. Low kick for Campuzano. Still a nice pace by both fighters, though Wineland scoring a bit more frequently. Nothing powerful landing, but the points adding up. Wineland with a straight right. Campuzano lands with a pair of low kicks, and those are his best weapons so far. Halfway through the frame. Wineland catches a body kicks and counters, but it's not as successful as the earlier exchanges. Campuzano opening up a bit, but Wineland's speed and head movement are effective. Three-punch combination rocks Campuzano, and Wineland follows to the floor. Wineland pounces with strikes, but Campuzano absorbs the blows and works back to his feet. Campuzano looks woozy, but he throws a few wild knees. Wineland closes in on the cage and unleashes. A massive right to the body drops Campuzano, and a straight right to the jaw seals the result. DANNY DOWNES VS. CHRIS HORODECKI

Round 1 - Referee John Braak in the cage. Horodecki gets the warm hometown welcome. Horodecki navigates the range early and moves inside. Downes defends the trip against the cage, but Horodecki eventually works it to the floor. Horodecki in half-mount, and he grabs a guillotine choke on the right side and falls to guard. Downes looks comfortable in the position, and Horodecki lets it go as the two work back to the feet. Both fighter spin with on over-under clinch. Halfway through the round. Horodecki keeps the pressure on and works the fight again to the floor. Downes tries to slide free using the cage, but Horodecki keeps top position and delivers a few short right hands. Horodecki lifts the left leg over and transitions to mount. Downes gives up his back to avoid damage, and Horodecki wraps the right arm around the chin. Both hooks in for Horodecki, but Downes keeping his chin tucked, and he eventually wiggles free. Downes works back to the feet and threatens to take Horodecki's back, but he spins away. Horodecki pushes the action against the cage until the bell, and MMAjunkie.com sees it for the Canadian, 10-9.

Round 2 - Horodecki lands an early right. A second staggers Downes. Downes answers with a straight. Horodecki scores a spinning back kick and a few flurried punches. Jab for Horodecki. Downes lands an uppercut, and he's answering, but he looks fatigued. Three-punch combination for Horodecki finished with an outside leg kick. Horodecki punches in the Thai clinch and then pushes Downes to the cage. Two minutes in, and it's all Horodecki. Horodecki lands knees to the thigh in the clinch and then works Downes to the floor again. Downes gets up quickly, but he's got nothing so far. Horodecki continues to work quick combinations that score, and he's eliminating Downes' reach advantage by working inside. Into the clinch with Horodecki in control. One minute left. Horodecki backs away and lands a right. Horodecki scores two punches to the body then one up top. Downes misses a kick, and his punches have no zip. Downes does land a right hand. Horodecki peppers a few more in before the bell, and he takes the round, 10-9.

Round 3 - Downes opens up on fire, but Horodecki up to the challenge. Horodecki lands a nice spinning kick to the gut that halts Downes' advance. Horodecki immediately buts Downes on his back. Downes rolls, and Horodecki takes the back. both hooks in for Horodecki, and this time the choke is under the chin. Downes tries to defend, but he has no choice but to tap. Chris Horodecki def. Danny Downes via submission (rear-naked choke) - Round 3, 1:09.

L.C. DAVIS VS. JOSH GRISPI

Round 1 - Referee Yves Lavigne in charge of this featherweight contender fight. Grispi takes the center early. Grispi flashes a high kick, and Davis fires off a combination that's blocked. David looking to attack with his hands early. A few left hands score. Grispi working kicks low and high early. Grispi lands a pair of low kicks, then he scores with a front kick. Davis shoots in and lands a powerful slam, but Grispi immediately locks up a guillotine on the right arm. Grispi slides his legs into guard and cranks the choke. Davis tries to punch out, but he's trapped. Davis stays in the position, and Lavigne checks the right arm before determining Davis is asleep and calling the fight. Somewhere in the world, Mac Danzig groans. Josh Grispi def. L.C. Davis via technical submission (guillotine choke) - Round 1, 2:33.

MARK HOMINICK VS. YVES JABOUIN

Round 1 - Referee Vern Gorman oversees the evening's co-main event. Jabouin fires off a few quick jabs. Hominick answers, though Jabouin throws a high kick. Jabouin flashing speedy strikes early, but Hominick lands a right. Jabouin continues to fire kicks. Hominick catches one but cna't capitalize. Jabouin staying the busier fighter, thought Hominick defending well. Two minutes in. Jabouin with a flashy spinning kick as Hominick waves him in. Hominick works the body, but Jabouin continues to land punches and kicks from all angles. Hominick presses forward, and Jabouin slowing slightly. Straight right, spinning backfist for Jabouin. Hominick just misses a sweep attempt. Jabouin slowing a bit, but the pace was so frantic early. Left straight from Hominick who seems to be finding his range. Hominick really scoring in the latter stages, but Jabouin is still firing, too. Hominick works the body and the head. Hominick with the late momentum that may carry into the second round, but Jabouin takes the frame on the MMAjunkie.com card, 10-9.

Round 2 - Jabouin with an early left. The pace opens up high again, but Hominick is less reserved this time. Hominick to the body. Jabouin lands a spinning elbow to the head, and Hominick just stands there. Hominick with a left to the body, right up top. Hominick continues to be the aggressor, though Jabouin answers. Left to the body drops Jabouin, and Hominick fires off more lefts as he stands over his downed opponent. Jabouin climbs back to his feet and fires back, but he's starting to cover up. Jabouin fires off a right hand and Hominick is dropped. Jabouin follows in, and Hominick looks for a triangle then sweeps to mount. Jabouin trapped, and Hominick firing shots from the top. Gorman says Jabouin needs to defend, but he's trapped. Hominick continues to punch, and the fight is stopped. Unbelievable round, unbelievable fight. Mark Hominick def. KAMAL SHALORUS VS. JAMIE VARNER

Round 1 - Referee Josh Rosenthal in the cage for the main event. Shalorus takes the center, though Varner lands an early right. Varner moving quickly early, but Shalorus connects on a hard low kick. Varner misses a homerun right but comes back with a left. High kick for Varner, and a right lands, too. Flurry from Varner as he avoids the power of his opponent early. Left hand for Shalorus lands. Two minutes in, and Varner lands a right hand. His movement quick early, though Shalorus is standing in the pocket and swinging in return. Two leg kicks for Shalorus, then a third. Varner answers in kind, and a straight right sees Shalorus stumble. Right hand for Varner. Right hand wobbles Shalorus. Varner chases, and Shalorus fires back. Intense action, and when it breaks, Shalorus cheers the action. Shalorus tries a single leg, but Varner escapes. Shalorus kicks to the body. Traded punches from both men, and each just stands and absorbs. Great action early, and MMAjunkie.com sees it for Varner, 10-9.

Round 2 - Shalorus with more low kicks, though one catches Varner a little close to the cup. Varner still throwing hands, though his pace has slowed early. Shalorus catches Varner with a direct shot to the groin, and we take a break. Shalorus apologizes, but he kicks low again early. Varner's leg definitely reddened, but he scores with a few overhands. Shalorus catches Varner low again, and this time he collapses. As Varner writhes in agony, Rosenthal takes a point from Shalorus. On the restart, Varner looks like he may have hurt his right hand. Shalorus not afraid to keep throwing the low kick. Varner throws a high kick that lands and fires several punches. Shalorus again absorbs the shots and cheers. Varner kicks high. Varner leads with a left, and Shalorus returns fire. One minute left. Varne still firing, and Shalorus doing the same. Continued action until the bell. Great action again, and MMAjunkie.com sees it 10-8 Varner with the point deduction.

Round 3 - Both fighters appear to have injured right hands as the final round opens. Shalorus continues the strategy of low kicks, and he scores to the groin again. Varner limping around during the break. Surprisingly, no point deducted. Shalorus continues to kick on the restart, but this time he's keeping it higher. Both fighters jabbing and kicking, unable to use their right hands. Shalorus finally goes to a takedown and sets up in Varner's guard. Varner works a closed guard, and Shalorus tries to throws left hands, though he's throwing open-handed strikes. Varner throws a few elbows. Varner rolls for a kimura briefly, then tries to escape. Shalorus advances to half-mount, but Varner shucks him off and they return to the feet. Not much either can do, and the fight ends to cheers. Exciting, odd action.
