All of the wrestlers from the first season of NXT in The Nexus group have been told to avoid being nice to fans outside of shows and to wear their armbands everywhere when in public to enhance the storyline reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. They are also not allowed to pose for photos or sign autographs. When some in the group have been approached by fans, most were nice about it when asked for autographs, but said they weren't allowed to at the moment.

I understand, but it's the "magic" of professional wrestling. Even though Vince wants to get away from that and be "sports entertainment", he knows how to keep a storyline alive. It's more believable if they act the same way they do inside and out of the ring.
