Apparently there was no direction for the first NXT run-in a few months ago where they invaded RAW, the same angle that led to Bryan Danielson’s departure from the company. The Rookies were told to go out and put on an angle that didn’t look like normal WWE beatdowns and to take out the WWE employees. Justin Roberts didn’t know to leave the area and didn’t know he was going to be attacked or choked with the tie by Danielson. The incident where Danielson spit on John Cena
was not approved. The story is that the Rookies weren’t aware of the limitations that they had to work with.
