With his WWE World championship win last night, Kane would become the first person to the win the WWF (now WWE) title, the World championship and the now-defunct ECW belt while all three were under the auspices of WWE. Big Show is technically considered the first but his "World" title victory was in WCW as The Giant. Thanks to Josh for passing that along.

He also did win his first ever World Title, and that made him a Grandslam Champion as well!

glad to see kane get a world title run hopefully it will last atleast till summerslam and hopefully beyond.

Hey Kane title run already lasted longer then his first. I do hope he holds it for atleast a couple months. The man deserves it.

I think WWE should go on with Kane as destroying monster - but with less "who did nearly-kill The Undertaker" phrases and build Kane as champ not as title holder for Taker

I hate to rain on Kane's parade but he is not going to have a long title because they can't market him because he scares the living shit out of kids and he his promo's are not that good.

I'm glad that Kane won the title. I see him hold it until Summer Slam or when Undertaker comes back.

Not really, my son has loved Kane since he was a toddler, he still does. He was elated when Kane won the title. I was too. Kane deserves this. Actually some kids latch onto Taker as well. But remember it's the adults who like the not-John Cena superstars who have the incomes to pay for the merchandise, tickets, PPVs and such. WWE is finally figuring this out...
