Jersey Wrestling Elite would like the announce that the showname has been changed to Jersey Wrestling Elite Presents: Meltdown on July 31, 2010 at the ACE Arena in Union City, NJ. Ref BigJose has alerted JWE Staff that some things will be changed on the card before the July 31st date. This is to give you fans the BEST CARD POSSIBLE! Only from "the Diamond in the Rough of Professional Wrestling" JWE!

Matches already announced:
JWE ...CHAMPIONSHIP
Rob Vegas (c) vs Mo Sexton

As the fresh-as-a-daisy Rob Vegas was getting the JWE belt strapped around his waist by JWE Promoter Big Jose after winning the "Heir to the Throne" tournament over a tired and wary Neeno Capone, Mo Sexton came out superkicked the daylights out of VEGAS! Big Jose then announced that at Meltdown on July 31st, it will be Rob Vegas in his first defense of the championship against the #1 contender, "the Workhorse" Mo Sexton! Both men are undefeated in JWE and something will give on July 31st. Will "the Chessmaster's" first defense be a successful one? Or will Mo Sexton end Vegas's reign before it even begins?

BS Express (Ed and Tom Scanlon) vs the Midnight Sensations (Chris Rockwell and Sam Shields)

JWE will definitely be getting some ELITE tag team action on July 31st, as Ed and Tom Scanlon of the BS Express face off against the Midnight Sensations of Chris Rockwell and Sam Shields at Meltdown. The last time these two teams interacted, the BS Express eliminated the Sensations in a Three Way Dance under the PRESTIGE banner's Uprising. Now, the Sensations want revenge. Will the "12 Degree Black Belt" and the "Complex" come out on top? Or will the BS Express remain unbeaten in JWE?

#1 Contender's match
Neeno Capone vs Mike Donovan

During the Four-Way-Dance semifinals in the Heir to the Throne tournament, Neeno Capone and Mike Donovan had an awesome back-and-forth exchange before one Shooting Star Press gained Neeno the duke. JWE management was so impressed with both men's performance that night that on July 31st, it will be Capone vs Donovan for the #1 contendership to the JWE championship! Can the Shooting Star overcome Donovan one more time? Or will "the South Side Knockout" find another victim in Neeno's cranium at Meltdown?

Darius Carter vs Big Money Marconi

Last month at Heir to the Throne, Darius Carter had a very unique debut victory in a six-man tag with the experienced Pinkie Sanchez and Stockade as his partners. And originally, it was scheduled for "the Debonair Millionaire" to face Tony Fatu at Aftershock, but JWE management learned that Fatu backed out because of "undisclosed reasons". JWE Promoter Big Jose uncovered that Darius Carter paid off Fatu to walk away from the matchup and gain the forefit win. Jose became so enraged that he hired a man who is one of Carter's biggest rivals on the independent scene, BIG MONEY MARCONI, to face him one-on-one at Aftershock. But rumors flew that Carter was ecstatic that Aftershock was cancelled and that he was probably going to get a new opponent. Well, rumors were just that...RUMORS, as "the Debonair Millionaire" will still be facing Marconi at MELTOWN. July 31st gets a bit more interesting for Darius Carter. Can "the Casanova of Cash" walk out victorious? Or will Big Money win his JWE debut at the hands of his most heated rival?

Giant vs Giant Killer match
Devious vs Junior Soba

In JWE Promoter Big Jose's eyes, the wrestlers have to make the most of their opportunities given in the promotion. And when asked for something, he will deliver. Well, a unique request for Big Jose has been accepted, as Junior Soba will face Devious in a Giant vs Giant Killer matchup on July 31st. "The Puerto Rican Pitbull"
