The Winston-Salem Journal published an article today titled “RAW isn’t suitable for teens.” The Journal states that according to a new study conducted by Wake Forest University, adolescents who watch professional wrestling are more prone to violent behavior than other young people. This study was published in this month's issue of the journal of Pediatrics.
WWE officials are calling the study “flawed and ridiculous.” The company issued the following press release this morning:

STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 7, 2006--World Wrestling Entertainment® (NYSE: WWE) issued the following statement today in response to a study documented in the August issue of "Pediatrics":
"We find the study flawed and ridiculous and we are contemplating legal action."
