Breaking News: ROH World Champion Signed by WWE?!!!

World Wrestling Entertainment has signed Ring of Honor champion Tyler Black a contract, according to multiple sources within the company. At least one WWE source has indicated that Black will be starting officially with WWE in September. I believe Black will be signing a developmental deal, but I don't have that 100% confirmed.

Black, 26, has been with Ring of Honor since 2007 and won the ROH championship in February 2010 from Austin Aries, He is also a former ROH Tag Team champion.

Black has several title defenses scheduled for August and September, including a defense against Davey Richards in Charlotte, NC.

ROH owner Cary Silkin issued a "no comment" when contacted this morning about Black signing

YES Im so happy 3 years ago I said he'd be signed to WWE Ive been a fan since he was doing 40 minute Mid South Matches. He has that look and he's so talented and what a big name to sign. Lol please WWE Please don't mess this one up. He's like an AJ Styles and has the exact look for a WWE Star. Lol gotta give it to WWE and TNA because they've finally started to hire real talent.

ROH isnt just an Indy title lol it has technically more class than both WWE World titles but anyway I dont like him as much today as I did years ago they took to long to give him the title.

yeah the WWE Title is older and held by Legends RoH title by Indy jobbers ike Daniel Bryan yeah that makes a lotta sense.

Mike Awesome jumped to WCW when ECW champ and ECW was bigger than RoH. It's known as a "Career Move" not that I expect you to be aware of it. E.G: Would you work at Microsoft as a developer or lead an unknown company? The answer is obvious.

They're not jobbers stop trying to be heel Gunner and the title means more and is actually a world title. Yea and it's also held by jobbers such as CM Punk and Samoa Joe. So whatever but ive seen far superior WRESTLING Matches for the ROH Title than the TNA/WWE Titles.
