WWE has released Smackdown Diva Serena, who just made her official in-ring debut last Friday. I haven't heard anything further as of this writing.

While specific details surrounding Serena's abrupt departure from WWE have yet to be disclosed, it said that she was let go in a disciplinary measure. The Pro Wrestling Torch cryptically notes that she was not “living out” her Straight Edge Society persona in public.

The decision to cut the six-time Ohio Valley Wrestling Women’s Champion was actually made a few days ago, but word had not surfaced until Monday night.

It would appear that an official announcement has not yet been made by WWE as she’s due to make an appearance on this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown, which was taped last Wednesday. She accompanies Luke Gallows to the ring for a match against Big Show.

So let me get this straight. They shave her head. The let her wrestle, 1 match, and then fire her. Goddamn the WWE is fucking retarded. If I was her I'd sue for the crap they've put her through.

What pisses me off is that if they really fired her because of not staying character out side the ring, then fuck, I'd hate to see how all the other wrestlers are keeping there jobs. Kane setting people on fire.

Undertaker putting people in caskets.

Randy Orton just randomly RKO'ing any one of the street.

John Cena being the biggest douche ever...well...he's the only one staying in character. But fucking hell, you can't expect to work for a company in the wrestling biz and you have to be in character 24/7. If so, Abyss from TNA would be straight up murdering people with fucking nail bats.

As reported last night, WWE has officially released Serena from her contract.

WR has learned that the decision to release Serena was actually made a few days ago, and Serena was in fact released due to behavioral issues while on the road that are being compared to the dismissal of Mickie James from the company earlier this year. WWE management had warned Serena about her behavior several times, and was also told that she was putting her job at risk. Unfortunately for Serena, it reached a point where WWE had no other choice but to release her. Furthermore, a push was being planned for her at the time.

We have also learned that the video of Serena drinking in a bar that aired on a past edition of Friday Night SmackDown was in fact designed to send a message to her concerning her partying habits while on the road.

WWE has not yet commented on Serena's release due to her appearing on this week's edition of SmackDown, but an announcement from them is expected sometime following the broadcast.

Serena's sudden release from World Wrestling Entertainment is being compared to Mickie James' dismissal from the organization earlier this year as both involved matters concerning behavioral problems on the road.

Serena had been warned several times by management to tighten up her road behavior as she was putting her job at risk. It ultimately reached a point where WWE had no choice but to let her go, just as a big push was planned no less.

It is said that the episode of WWE SmackDown! in which Serena was caught drinking alcohol at a bar was designed to send a message to her. An irate CM Punk immediately chastised her following the airing of the video, but she was forgiven the following week. Luke Gallows, however, refused to follow suit and walked out on his fellow Straight Edge Society members.

News of her departure from WWE is being kept under wraps internally, but an announcement is expected to be made this weekend after WWE SmackDown! airs on Friday. The show was taped last Wednesday in California.

For those that have asked WWE hasn’t posted the usual “best endeavors” release notice for Serena, it is due to the fact that she is still slated to appear on this week’s Smackdown, as it was pre-taped last week.

Serena had been warned several times by management to tighten up her road behavior as she was putting her job at risk. It should be noted that paparazzi photos of Serena out in Hollywood walking to a nightclub recently surfaced online.
