Chris "Tatanka" Chavis, 45, was told at the 7/25 Smackdown tapings that he was being suspended for 30 days. Suffice it to say, Tatanka was angry about the suspension and he vowed to fight it.
Tatanka was back on the road six days later at last week's WWE SuperShow and he was being put over Sylvan. The protocol for test failures is to job them out before suspending them. Sylvan beat Tatanka the week before because he was expected to take some time off.
Apparently, Tatanka challenged the test results of the first test, and then he passed a subsequent test. However, it usually takes more than a week to get the test results back. This situation is being described as strange as no one seemed to have a direct answer regarding his sudden return to the company.
