In another of those "am I really seeing this?" moments, there is a long interview conducted by Joey Styles with TNA star and former WWF champion Mick Foley on the WWE website discussing the release of Foley's fourth memoir "Countdown to Lockdown" today.
While TNA is not mentioned in any form, Foley discusses the media coverage of the Linda McMahon campaign, including one reporter who interviewed Foley about the campaign only for Foley to learn that the reporter didn't even know who John Cena was, Foley's last run with WWE, Vince McMahon's decision to promote the book (which WWE will not profit from, by the way) and much more.
If there was ever proof that sometimes Vince McMahon
does things to be nice, or that he just loves Foley for what Foley gave to WWE, this is it. It's certainly not something WWE needed or had to do, so kudos to them for going out of their way for Foley.
