CM Punk injury update, Val Venis returning?

- According to Mike Aldren, the early news from CM Punk's MRI results is not good. His hip injury could end up requiring surgery which would keep him out of the ring for several weeks. More information should be known by next week.

According to indy promoters that have tried to book him, Val Venis (Sean Morley) is returning to WWE in the near future. It's believed that he'll be coming back in a backstage role.

Both news are horrible to hear. Especially the Val Venis stuff, I absolutely hate that man. So annoying.

To update the earlier story on Val Venis returning to WWE, word is that he will begin working again with the company on their European tour in early November.

Still no word yet if he will be returning as a performer or as an agent. Before his WWE release in early 2009, there was talk of having Venis work with some of the younger talents.
