A man has been found dead and a woman critically ill in a fume-filled house in Northern Ireland.
Police are investigating whether the fatal incident in the property outside Irvinestown, Co Fermanagh, was caused by a gas leak.
The man in his 50s was discovered by the Fire Service at around 11am on Wednesday.
The woman, who is around the same age, has been taken to hospital.
Officers said a definite cause could not be established until a full forensic examination of the property was undertaken.
The incident comes only months after two teenage school friends died from carbon monoxide poisoning in a holiday apartment in Castlerock, Co Londonderry.
