View Full Version : Breaking: 'Paranormal Activity 3' Gets 2011 Release Date!

We have received exclusive confirmation from producer Oren Peli (also director of the first film) that Paramount Pictures has locked down an October 21, 2011 release date for Paranormal Activity 3. No other details are available at this time. The Tod Williams-directed prequel/sequel Paranormal Activity 2 has grossed $156m worldwide. Peli's groundbreaking 2009 film has topped $193m. What can we expect from the third film? Take your guess below and talk about your thoughts on this horror "trilogy".

The first one was absolute trash, the second looks like it's even worse. How the hell they gon' make a third? SMH

I thought the first one was great. Simple but very well-executed. I really don't think one sequel is necessary, let alone two or more. I expect it to turn out like the Blair Witch did with the awful sequel that movie had.

I hated them before I watched them but the first one I has mixed feelings it was a little cheesy but something new.
