The whole Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker deal was just one of at least three "out-of-the-box" ideas that WWE came up with regarding Wrestlemania 27. The company is concerned about the buyrate not doing well this year and they are actively looking for someone outside the wrestling industry to help boost interest in the show.
Speaking of Wrestlemania, the $25 tickets (the cheapest ones) have sold out. Tickets in other price ranges are still available. WWE is pushing Wrestlemania hard on television so far because they're aware that interest levels are down from previous years.
This is very good they keep getting desperate and ideas like this and realise people are losing interest and then they'll realise what needs to be done.
