John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston have welcomed a new baby boy into their family.Baby Benjamin was born yesterday in a hospital in Florida. The baby weighed 8lbs, 3oz.
A statement from the family said "John, Kelly and their daughter Ella Blue are ecstatic and very happy about the newest member of their family. Both mother and baby are healthy and doing beautifully."
48-year-old Preston recently told People magazine that the family were in preparation mode for the new arrival saying "I've been cleaning out everything in the house. Ella has been helping too. She's looking forward to being a big sister."
The couple's eldest son, Jett, died in January 2009 after suffering a seizure at the age of 16.
