Since its inception, Cage of Death has hosted some of the greatest Junior Heavyweight Title Matches in Combat Zone Wrestling history. Classic contests like Trent Acid and Ruckus at COD III, emotional encounters like Sonjay Dutt and M-Dogg 20 at COD VI, unique battles like Sabian and LuFisto at COD IX, and dream achieving moments like Greg Excellent winning the title at COD XI have all been an important part in spectacle known as Cage of Death.
Saturday night December 11th, 2010 at Cage of Death XII should be no different as A.R Fox challenges Adam Cole for the CZW Junior Heavyweight Championship. Fox and Cole have both made 2010 their year.
The development of Fox throughout 2010 has been undeniable as Fox entered CZW in February and wowed the CZW audience with his innovative and dazzling aerial offense. Fox became a star on day one in CZW, and his star has shone even brighter since. Winning the first ever Aerial Assault Ladder Match at Down with the Sickness 2010, and then challenging Cole at its Always Bloody in Philadelphia. Fox came up short due to some underhanded tactics by Cole. Fox though won’t let that keep him down. Fox has his mind focused and won’t let anything derail his goal of becoming CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion.
Adam Cole along with winning the CZW Junior Heavyweight Title in May at Fist Fight, has become CZW’s resident alpha male. Cole has the lovely Mia Yim by his side to ensure a lengthy title reign. Cole’s progression in 2010 is beyond doubt. Cole went from rising star to definite star. Cole plans on capping off his incredible run this year by walking out of this clash with a beautiful lady by his side and the Junior Heavyweight Title around his waist.
Who will emerge with the gold at Cage of Death XII on Saturday night at 8PM from The Asylum Arena in Philadelphia when Adam Cole and A.R Fox do battle for the CZW Junior Heavyweight Championship?
