While former WWE creative writer Christopher DeJoseph was the only name made public as being let go by the company, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that John Piermini and Dan Matalaga have also left the company. Piermini left a few weeks ago on his own, while Matalaga was let go several weeks ago.

WWE and UFC will be going head-to-head for the first time ever in the same city this Saturday (December 4) in Las Vegas. WWE will be running a house show consisting of both Raw and Smackdown stars at the new Orleans Arena (WWE has always run the Thomas & Mack Center for years) featuring WWE Champion The Miz, Rey Mysterio, Edge, Wade Barrett, Alberto Del Rio and more. UFC will be holding a smaller event at The Palms Casino Resort, "The Ultimate Figher Finale", to determine the winners of the Team GSP vs. Team Koscheck season. The Orleans area where WWE is running can hold up to 7,000, while The Palms can hold around 2,100 if it sells out.
