Hayley Williams has said that she found performing at last weekend's VH1 Divas Salute The Troops to be a moving experience.
Speaking to MTV News, the rocker asserted that she was honoured to be a part of the holiday tribute to US soldiers.
"Well, that was the first time we'd ever experienced anything like that… It was so humbling, and I want to do it again," she remarked.
Williams added that the gig was the fulfilment of one of her band Paramore's long-time goals.
She explained: "We've been waiting since our band started… Especially Jeremy [Davis], our bass player, he's had friends over there since the band started since he was out of high school. So it's just really important for us to show them they're remembered and give them a night just to hang out."
Last week, Williams was nominated for the 'Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals' Grammy for her work with B.o.B and Eminem on 'Airplanes II'.
