Tonight, continuing saga of Paul Bearer Held Hostage continues as Edge tries to keep Kane from his father. Alberto Del Rio gets to try to squash the cockroach Chihuahua Rey Mysterio and they will be in a tag match since they will be in separate matches at TLC.
We are live on tape from Dayton, Ohio and your announcers are Josh ‘Nutter’ Mathews, Matt ‘What Happened to Todd Grisham’ Striker, and Michael ‘I guess that RKO wasn’t as bad as I hoped’ Cole.
Kane comes to the ring and he has his serious face on. He makes fire spring from the ring posts before he starts his comments. Kane says that this has gone on for way too long. All he wants is his father back. Edge has tortured and tormented Paul Bearer like he is a toy in Edge’s game. Kane tells us that Paul is not a toy, he is Kane’s father. He says that Paul does not deserve this and he does not deserve this. He says that he has apologized to Edge and he has done everything that Edge has asked him. However, Edge continues to amuse himself with the one person in the world that Kane cares about. Despite all of the things he has done in the past, Kane says that he is not a monster. He has feelings and it is tearing his heart apart. He calls Edge the monster. Edge has forced him to chase him and hunt him down and now he is begging Edge to please . . . please give him his father back.
This has to end and he wants to make sure that Edge hears him as he begs for this to end tonight.
Edge appears on the TitanTron and he gets Kane’s attention. Edge asks Kane how he is doing and then he says that he heard Kane and it all might end tonight, but Edge thinks that it will end at TLC. Edge says that he is with Paul Bearer who is still in the Rated R Wheelchair and has his mouth taped up. Edge says that he also has a chair and Paul starts to freak out. Edge points out that he is the master of the TLC Match and you can get rusty. He hasn’t wielded a steel chair in a while so he needs some batting practice. He asks Paul and since we can’t understand human speech while obstructed by duct tape, Edge thinks that he said that it was okay. Edge lines things up and he is about to hit Paul but he stops short because of his windup. Edge hesitates a second time, but he connects the third time.
Kane sees this and he starts to seethe before running up the ramp and then he goes to the side exit because Edge won’t think that he would go that way. Kane shuffles his way to the back and then he tells Edge not to do ‘that’.
Edge tells Kane not to take another step so he doesn’t have to do this. Kane pleads again while Edge stands over Paul Bearer with the chair. Edge says that Kane took another step so he hits Paul in the back with the chair and runs away.
Kane gets to the body of his father and once again the Big Red Coyote has been tricked by the Rated R Road Runner because Kane sees that it was an dummy Paul Bearer from Acme. Kane makes the dummy’s day even worse by kicking it.
Edge is now behind a staircase and he tells Kane that he has the dummy that Kane is looking for. The chase continues as we go to commercial.
