We are live on tape from Lafayette, Louisiana and your announcers are Matt ‘Tables’ Striker, Josh ‘Ladders’ Mathews, and Michael ‘Chairs’ Cole.
Edge comes out to the ring, but he is missing his wheelchair buddy Paul Bearer. Edge says that he is not going to lie. The last four weeks with Kane and Paul Bearer have been bizarre to say the least. They might have been the most bizarre of his wrestling career and possibly his entire life. Words cannot properly explain the bizarre nature, so he has made a video package and he has incorporated Yakety Sax (the music from Benny Hill). It ends with Paul Bearer being injured by Kane.
Edge says that actually happened. Edge says that he wishes that it never did happen. Edge says that people asked him why he did it and he says that there is one name to explain why he did it. That is Kane. Edge says that he has known Kane for over twelve years but he knows what Kane has been like since he was born. He says that Kane is evil. He terrorizes people, uses people, ruins their lives for his own amusement. Edge reminds everyone that Kane terrorized the entire Smackdown roster, blaming them for attacking the Undertaker but Kane knew that he did it. Then Kane used Paul Bearer as a pawn so he could bury the Undertaker alive. Edge says that he knew that he would have to get down to Kane’s level. He needed to be the one to fight fire with fire and face Kane at his own game.
Edge asks rhetorically if he went too far, and he is not sure. He says that the ends justify the means because he has gotten inside Kane’s head. The master of the evil mind games has been one upped. It will all be worthwhile on Sunday when he faces Kane in his match, a Table, Ladders, and Chairs Match. It will look like a tornado went through a trailer park when everything is done. Edge says that he will set up a ladder in the center of the ring and rung by rung, climb it so he can become a ten time World Heavyweight Champion.
We go to commercial.
Teddy Long is in his office and Edge enters. Teddy wants to know what Edge is doing. Is he trying to poke the bear. Teddy says that he doesn’t know if Kane will even show up this week. Edge says that if Kane does not show up he is ready for some other competition. Teddy doesn’t even know if Kane will show up at the pay per view. Edge says that he doesn’t want to win the title by forfeit so he asks Teddy what can they do if Kane does not show up.
Alberto Del Rio happens to walk into the office at this moment. Alberto says that Teddy wants to see him so he can apologize to him. If Teddy is looking for someone to destroy Edge, he is the man.
Rey Mysterio comes in through the other open door in the office and interrupts Alberto Del Rio and he doesn’t want Del Rio to get a title shot. Rey says that he deserves a title match. He says that he would like to show Albertito the type of bite that this dog has.
They argue in Spanish and then Teddy says that they all deserve a shot at the title. If Kane does not show up at the pay per view, Edge, Alberto Del Rio, and Rey Mysterio will be in a Triple Threat TLC Match for the World Title.
Rey doesn’t have a problem with that match. Alberto wants to know what is going to happen if Kane show up. Teddy decides to make it a Fatal Four Way TLC Match at the pay per view.
Alberto and Rey leave and Teddy tells Edge that if Kane does show up, that he hopes God has mercy on Edge’s soul.
