WCW/Wrestlemania 27 Interaction? and Del Rio Makes Clame

Alberto Del Rio claimed in an interview last week that he is actually a third generation wrestler. He said his grandfather was a wrestler, but never famous. However, it has never been claimed that Mil Mascaras and Dos Caras are sons of wrestlers.

While the extent is unclear, with Wrestlemania 27 taking place in Atlanta, Georgia near the ten-year anniversary of the death of WCW, there is expected to be some sort of tie-in involving the defunct wrestling promotion at the event.

Rey will never turn heel. There's no WCW guys there, WWE had a chance to do the Invasion when Hogan etc came in but they blew it. Unless they can get Nash, Hall and Sting that stable will have no credibility

Indeed. With Flair, Sting, Lex, Hogan, Savage, Vader, Arn, Nash, Hall, even Bishoff all out of the picture one way or another, a WCW feud just wouldn't work. They would at least need to have 3 or 4 guys who AREN'T in WWE right now and can still wrestle to be able to pull this off.

Now, if they got, Booker T, DDP, Goldberg, and say, Sting for example, that'd be cool and they could make it work. But don't hold your breath.

Might be the case but that will result in a very shitty WM, Orton vs Cena for the 100th time, Alberto vs Edge isn't WM caliber and Wade vs Taker is the most predictable match ever, shitty match for 10 minutes then Nexus interfere and Taker makes them his bitches to pick up the win. At this stage Taker needs the best matches available since he's so close to retiring

No because it would be too much like the Nexus; two factions in the WWE (When one is as big as Nexus) wouldn't be sensible. As for Del Rio, I think he's awesome.
