Within the company, Kurt Angle is trying to deny how bad his groin injury is (it may be a tear), and according to a friend, its pretty bad. The TV storyline last Tuesday was actually a bit of a shoot. The feeling was with his competitive nature, and the injury, they had to pull him from the ladder match for his own good.
Angle's physical problems are exacerbated by some out of the ring problems. Angle is currently going through a divorce with his wife Karen, after they split up and got back together in the last year or so. Also, she is currently pregnant with his first son, and he has a young daughter who is 3 1/2 years old now.
Angle is insisting to everyone that he is not physically breaking down and that he wants to get back into the ring to prove it. At the moment, nobody knows how bad his groin injury is and if he will be out of action due to it.
