A press conference was held earlier today in Japan by Dreamstage Entertainment to announce two confirmed bouts for the upcoming U.S. debut of PRIDE at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 21st.
The two confirmed bouts see a Heavyweight rematch between kingpin Fedor Emelianenko and Mark "The Hammer" Coleman, as well as somewhat of a revenge match as Hammer House star Kevin "The Monster" Randleman battles the returning Chute Boxe'r Mauricio "Shogun" Rua.
Also at the press conference was boxing phenomenon "Iron" Mike Tyson, whom DSE offered no comment about regarding whether or not he'd fight for the promotion. As we already reported on the "PRIDE Newsboard" earlier today, Tyson is reportedly going to be boxing an exhibition bout at an upcoming PRIDE show, although it is believed to be a different show than the U.S. debut the press conference was held for.
