Germany's Westside Xtreme Wrestling will return to the United States on Saturday 4/9 as part of a double header with Combat Zone Wrestling at the ECW Arena in Philadelphia, PA. This will be the second time the promotion has made their way to promote events in the United States.

The 4/9 matinee will be headlined by a no ropes barbed wire match featuring Jun Kasai from Big Japan facing Drake Younger. The storyline is that Younger demanded to headline the WXW event and signed the contract at this past weekend's CZW event, only to realize after the fact that he locked himself into a barbed wire match. His "Golden Boy" character has been avoiding taking any hardcore punishment of late, even eliminating himself from the CZW Cage of Death last month to mock the fans.

Other talents coming into the United States for the WXW event include Zack Sabre, Jr, Sitoci, and Big van Walter. Sami Callihan is the only other additional talent thus far announced for the WXW card.

The 4/9 event will be a doubleheader, followed by CZW's annual Junior Heavyweight tournament, The Best of The Best.

There are plans for a bus trip from NYC and New Jersey to both events.

WXW will also be running 4/10 in Union City, NJ at the ACE Arena.
