Labour's lead over the Conservatives has increased to eight points, according to the latest poll.
ComRes put support for the Opposition at 42%, up three points since its last survey in December.
The Conservatives were down three to 34% and the Liberal Democrats were up one to 12%.
If the poll was translated into vote share at a General Election, Labour would have a majority of 102.
The findings give Labour its biggest lead since the party lost power in May last year.
However, the rest of the results may make less comfortable reading for Labour leader Ed Miliband and his team.
On the economy, 36% believed Labour would do a better job than the coalition but 54% disagreed. Just over a third of respondents - 36% - said Mr Miliband was proving to be a good leader but more - 42% - said he was not.
Support for the Government has cooled, ComRes found, as 32% believe Britain is better off with a coalition while 58% would prefer a single party with an overall majority.
Nick Clegg is a good Deputy Prime Minister in the eyes of 32% but 52% disagreed.
The poll results come days before the by-election in Oldham East and Saddleworth.
Considered a three-way marginal between the major parties, recent surveys tip Labour to keep the seat.
Ten people are contesting the seat and the by-election will be held on Thursday.
