Trademark, copyright, and domain name filings have in the past been dependably good indicators of upcoming new game announcements -- just recently, Electronic Arts' filing for SSX: Deadly Descents precipitated the game's Spike TV VGA reveal. So that means this new deluge of copyright filings from Bungie probably suggests they either have a bunch of new projects in development, or they're throwing up some smoke screens.

Supererogtary uncovered four different copyright filings and domain name registrations, for "Seven Seraphs," "Osiris," "New Monarchy," and "Dead Orbit." The copyrights are technically filed for "artwork," but Supererogatory notes that could encompass "all sorts of promotional and marketing like logos." Then of course there are the multiple domain registrations for each one, including .com, .org, and .net variations.

So, do any one of these have anything to do with whatever new franchise Bungie is making for Activision? And if so, how many? We still have no idea when Bungie will unveil this new franchise (maybe E3 in June?), so it could be a while before we find out the answer.
