Former WWE creative team member Court Bauer revealed on yesterday's Figure Four Daily radio show that WWE officials contacted him in the spring of 2010 about returning to work on the planned WWE cable TV network. Officials wanted Bauer to help develop original programming for the network.

Bauer said he had meetings with officials in Stamford but decided not to take the job. Bauer said that WWE's vision about their cable network has changed many times from what they originally had planned, especially after they began to shop it around to potential cable partners.

I'm curious exactly what their plan is going to turn out to be. I mean, is this gonna be WWE in name only, or is it going to be an actual wrestling channel?

A wrestling channell would make sense but with the whole Vince considering it an entertainment company and stuff I think overall it'll be WWE in name only.

Perhaps Tough Enough, NXT, Superstars will air on there.

What would be cool is to have a wrestling channell and feature the classics on demand stuff and as mentioned previously have like WCW Wednesdays, ECW Tuesdays, run old PPVs on a Saturday night etc etc.
