Rock Band fans who get their indie music fix on Nintendo's Wii will have to look elsewhere, as next week's track pack officially marks the end of new Rock Band Network songs coming to the platform.

The news comes courtesy of a statement released Thursday by Harmonix community manager Aaron Trites, who said that the cancelled support was due to limited demand dictated by the Wii's comparably small userbase.

"With the smaller online install base, limited demand for releases so far and the significant amount of work it takes for our producers and audio team to convert and process those additional tracks we're no longer able to continue submitting [Rock Band Network] content to the Wii," said Trites.

Traditional DLC will continue on the Wii going forward, but this Tuesday's Rock Band Network pack of independent tracks will be the last on the system.

The final Rock Band Network pack for the Wii will be as follows:

The Main Drag - "How We?d Look On Paper"
Wounded Soul - "Rx"
Band of Horses - "The Great Salt Lake"
Firewind - "Head Up High"
Cetan Clawson and the Soul Side - "White Heat"
OK Go - "White Knuckles"
