As already reported several weeks ago on PWInsider, Sky made it official today that the German Pay TV provider would air Smackdown in its entirety for the first time on March 4, 2011. Smackdown will air every Friday in its full version - not just before the U.S. premiere but also before it airs in the UK about an hour later.
Sky will also not just start airing Raw in its entirety starting mid-February, but will also start broadcasting WWE's flagship weekly show live - every Monday night at 3am CET. The replay follows at 11 AM , 5:30 PM and 10 PM or 10:30 PM (depending on the rest of the schedule).
The first live broadcast of RAW will air on Monday, Feb. 14. All of the WWE's weekly shows will also air in HD on Sky Sport HD.
Also, Sky and WWE came to terms to feature WWE's weekly shows on the Sky Sport App for the first time ever.
