HUGE NEWS: Rob Van Dam gets his World Title rematch against Jeff Hardy THIS THURSDAY on iMPACT on SpikeTV starting at 9/8c! Can RVD reclaim the championship?

WNS

Put the strap on him without Anderson/Heel etc.

Looks like RVD will be getting the title then. Why they want to put it back on him when they really haven't been doing much with him I don't know, but that seems to be what's going to happen. I'd much rather have them put it on AJ, would make a lot more sense too.

Yup let RVD beat Hardy so he dosent have to beat Anderson with the heel and dosent have to turn etc.

If RVD is granted a rematch, I don't really see why they put the strap on Anderson in the first place. It makes Anderson seem weak.

Yup was gonna say that should of kept it on Jeff the entire time and I love me some long title reigns as you know :shifty:

^^ I have nothing against Jeff or RVD as champions, as I love them both and always will. I just don't see the point in giving the title back to Jeff.

I know stupid again by TNA. Keep Jeff as champ and then let him drop to RVD at the tapings if that happens.

Yeah, none of this makes sense. If they really wanted to give the title to RVD, they could have at least done it in a triple threat or something, so Anderson didn't have to lose it back to Hardy, only for Hardy to lose it to RVD a couple days later. They really screwed up Anderson's reign just because they don't know what the fuck they're doing.

Should have made Jeff and Matt go for the Tag Titles instead tbh. And let Anderson feud with RVD

they've been building up this feud for a long time so it makes sense. Would have been nice to see it on PPV though

Yeah, they were, but then they just kind of threw it aside for Jeff to feud with Anderson and it seemed like they were starting a feud between Jeff and AJ. TNA just has way too much going on at once.

A triple threat ladder match would be awesome IMO

I'm just gonna sit back and see where this goes but at first glance:

A) I have no clue why they took the belt off Anderson
B) Putting the belt on RVD is pointless

If Hardy is avoiding jail time, keeping the belt on him is fine. Hardy can carry the belt okay and it gives guys like Anderson and RVD someone to chase. However, if their plan is to put the belt back on RVD, no thank you. Van Dam has been lost the past several months, involved in a bunch of different 2nd tier storylines. Despite him repeatedly saying he wants his shot against Hardy, how does giving him a title shot make any sense now? I'm sorry, but having him wrestle Matt isn't good enough to justify him getting a shot against Jeff. Terrible writing.

To be fair to them they have had Jeff running scared from him all this while. Plus he beat the entire Immortal group so yeah
