A spectator claims he was saved by a horse when he fell over and disappeared under competitors' hooves at a race in China.
Fu Min, 36, from Anchui, southern China had stepped onto the track to get a better picture of the wild horse race when he slipped as the riderless beasts thundered towards him.
But amazed Fu has told how he was saved by one of the animals when it grabbed him in its mouth and threw him clear of the other stallions.
"I stepped out to get a better shot and then a horse knocked me to the ground. I thought I was dead for sure," said Fu.
"But then another horse snatched my arm in its mouth and dragged me out of the way. I was amazed because I thought it was going to trample me into the ground," he added.
